The story of Whitestone Tech Foodworks begins far from a bakery. It began in Chennai, inside the structured, predictable world of an MNC IT company.
An engineering graduate followed routine corporate paths — until an unexpected calling emerged. A pull towards kitchens, aromas, textures, and the joy of creating something tangible.
Leaving behind the comfort of corporate life was not an easy decision. But passion rarely asks for permission. It demands courage.
Baking taught discipline before creativity. Technique before shortcuts. Respect before recognition.
To honour the craft, the founder enrolled in a Diploma in Culinary & Pastry Studies, where foundations were built brick by brick — precision, patience, and process.
This journey later led to France — the heartland of pastry craftsmanship — working inside a Michelin-starred restaurant kitchen.
In those kitchens, perfection was not optional. Every gram mattered. Every process was intentional. Humility defined the craft.
Yet, even in world-class European kitchens, the heart remained rooted in Tamil Nadu.
Returning home was not about replicating European desserts. It was about translating global techniques into a local soul.
